colts update

By Colts coach

After a long break from Vectis colts being a viable unit they have bounced back to life, with a lot of help from Martin George and Mark. The Colts have had a fantastic start to the season winning both of their opening fixtures. The first was V’s old rivals US Portsmouth we took a squad of 21 ,having not played before it took some time to get into the flow of things but we eventually won 18/13. The second fixture saw Tadley from Berkshire visiting us , we were delighted to have 27 turn out to play although it was great to see some of the older colts back playing in vectis colours they proved much too strong for a very spirited Tadley squad and we ran out clear winners at 57/12.
This coming Sunday we travel to Ellingham and Ringwood for our first league match of the season, watch this space!
