Vectis wins RFU seal of approval

Vectis has been awarded the RFU’s Mini and Youth Seal of Approval accreditation for the standard of its provision of rugby for young players.
Welcome to Vectis U8
U8s play tag rugby which is a none contact version of the game were a tackle is simulated by the removal of one of two tags worn around the waist.
To play for the U8 team you will be 7 on the start date of the Autumn school term.
Boys and girls are welcome to play this simplified version of rugby which provides a safe, stimulating and fun introduction to the game.
Training is provided through volunteers who coach the children through enjoyable and fun games which help to introduce the core rules of the tag game in a way that engages these two age groups.
Training sessions start on Sunday mornings at 10.30am and finish at 12pm (‘ish).
