Vectis wins RFU seal of approval

Vectis has been awarded the RFU’s Mini and Youth Seal of Approval accreditation for the standard of its provision of rugby for young players.
Welcome to Vectis U9s
U9 is the age group that start playing contact rugby. It is an introduction into the contact game but plays against a different set of rules which helps to keep this age group safe from injury. Scrums and line-outs are uncontested (they don’t push in the scrum and the team that is throwing in the line-out must get the ball) and there is no kicking (for points or otherwise).

Children must wear a gum shield in training and during matches.
Your child 8 years old at the start of the school year.
Training sessions start on Sunday mornings at 10.30am and finish at 12pm (‘ish).
