In general the approach at stage D is still mainly Touch Rugby, with maximum groups 10 (a side) as in
Return to Rugby roadmap. Main update is that now up to 15mins of contact, for relevant age groups, is allowed per session. However we would recommend no contact until October if possible, to limit exposure.
There is a need to stagger training times to limit the number of people and therefore contact. Please find the following times below:
WOOTTON VENTNOR
U6, U7, U8, U9 10:00 – 11:00 U13 10:00 – 11:00
U10, U11, U12 11:15 – 12: 15 U14 11:15 – 12:15
SANDOWN
U15 10:00 – 11:00
U16 11:15 – 12:15
During the 60min sessions, it is suggested to have 3 x 15min sessions with 5mins break in between for cleaning of equipment and players!
Other Important Points:
- Please bring own water bottles there is currently no facility to fill them up or provide drinks.
- Toilets are to be available but one way/non congestion system will be in place.
- Currently Club houses are still not considered open but we will keep an eye on when this changes.
